ADESCO LLC specializes in Heavy & Civil Construction and own a 47 acre marina and repair facility.
We were founded in 2005 as a sole proprietorship to capitalize on our knowledge of the construction industries. ADESCO’s start was small, beginning with a sub-contract painting outhouses for the U.S. National Park Service in Katmai National Park. As the company grew we took on projects including demolition, marine vessel repairs, fish processor design, heavy & civil construction, mobilization/demobilization and many other construction projects.
ADESCO re-organized as a Limited Liability Company in early 2015 and continues to operate in general construction and, fish tendering. We are a well rounded company with vast experience in construction and marine fields. Having worked for the U.S. Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Navy has given the company founder a lot of knowledge working with many U.S. government agencies. We have done projects from Alaska, across the United States and as far south as Central America. His experience and training with the DOD along with working in highly classified and secure sites made it possible to have had a U.S. government security clearance.
In 2016 we purchased 47-acres of waterfront property that will be open for storing large vessels in Summer 2017. In 2018 we will have an 18+ room bunkhouse with shower and laundry available for crews working on stored vessels. A small, seasonal grocery store is planned to open in 2018 as well.
Being an Alaskan-Native owned company, we strongly believe in local hire and from the owner right on down to the crew, we have always taken pride in our work ethics and strive to put our clients needs first. While always looking to better our company and do what we can to keep it environmentally friendly.
